ABOUT PAPERS

Papers can be either handmade or machine made.

Paper is made of cellulose derived from plants; the greater the cellulose content, stronger the paper.

While selecting a paper, it is important to consider factors such as weight (gsm), texture (cold pressed, hot pressed and rough), colour, sizing, archival quality and medium being used.

Paper is available in loose sheets, pads, sketchbooks and rolls.

You can choose based on whether you are painting in the studio or on the go.
